Poet Alan Morrison starts up poetry workshops the NHS in Hove |

Congratulations to Alan Morrison Poet, Playwright, SP Mentor, volunteer publications designer and former Poetry Express Editor, as he has just taken up running poetry workshops at the Mill View Hospital in Hove, East Sussex as Poet in Residence. Alan has also been Poet in Residence at The Aldrington House Mental Health Day Centre for the Elderly, also in Hove for several months now; these poetry projects are part of an independent voluntary project run through Sussex Partnerships NHS Trust.
Alan will aim to produce a publication of an anthology of works and is looking for funding, so if anyone wishes to donate to this worthy project please do get in touch with Alan.
Both units serve the Brighton & Hove Mental Health communities. Let’s wish both Alan and the centres every success.
Workshops
Aldrington Day Centre: Mondays – 11.15am-12.15pm
Mill View Hospital: Saturdays – 2.00pm-3.00pm
