he sent her)

“what a lovely morning” – enamored

of her zen garden  

                     especially

                  that

              gentle

          flowing

       water

and even more so when she is lost in

her Kanaye’s embraces  

(she’s wearing his favourite kimono, sighing

for him, wishing he was with her now)

Kameko opens the flower screen and

steps her tiny perfumed frame

outside
